Nienna's eyes widened to show her magnificent blue/green eyes.
She clapped softly. "Wonderful It is still great even though you can charm things to look like a rose. Making one appear out of thin air is great." Nienna turned the rose over in her hand examining it. " It"s made out of fabric? Odd."

"What else you got?" she said.

He blushed a bit, snickering.

"Yes, the silk rose is a necessity for repeat tricks. Though, Veril prefers live ones, which is a bit trickier."

He grinned, clapping his hands together before parting them. From in between his hands, a deck of cards seemed to appear. He cut it repeatedly in one hand, before sending a trio of cards flying. They swooped around Nienna before slinking back into Silas' open palm.

He winked, shuffling the deck with a quiet flutter...

Nienna was delighted at the slight of hand.
"You seem to be very proficient in these tricks. I bet that they could be applied in a more practical manner. Especially that last one. Mind if I tell my father about that trick? That's a deck of cards right? Can you hit targets with them?

Nienna got up and walked a little closer to were silas was sitting. She looked down at the object in his had. Do have them jinxed?" Her eyes had a quizzical but incisive look to them. Her auburn hair fell slightly forward and she brushed it back with her had swiftly.

He smiled as she seemed impressed by his little tricks. Shaking his head, he spoke softly.

"Tell your father? Why, I suppose so. It's nothing special. As for targets, well, I've tried to. It just seems whenever I aim for something important, I miss."

He winced slightly, remember the time he narrowly missed Ostheim. He smiled before continuing.

"However, it's not a jinx. Just pure and simple legerdemain."

He bridged the cards several times, very quickly before handing her the cards. Luckily, she wouldn't notice him switching between two decks...

"Hmmmm" she said. She flipped the cards over in her hand. "Just an ordinary card deck. " Nienna shuffled the cards a bit and handed them back. She thought nothing else of it.

"I would think it would make a pretty good weapon. Of course the principles would be used not so much the material itself. These cards seem to flimsy. "Nienna said soing some calculations in her head. She played with her curls a bit more.

He shrugged a bit.

"You'll find the plastic edges aren't so flimsy when they fly very quickly."

He smiled, laughing softly.

"But yes, I once saw a man throw them with great precision and speed. He was a very good magician, and pretty much inspired me. A very intriguing man."

"Intriguing you say? " she asked.
Training her blue eyes on him as she asked the question. Watching his movements. He was a little bit of a curiosity to her but he seemed trustworthy. Nienna needed some friends here that she could trust.

Hey everyone. This is the first time I've been able to get on a computer for more than 3 minutes in the past month or so. I'm at school right now, and I don't have a computer at home.

The hard drive on my computer if fried and my parents wont let me use their computer (cause they suck!) I apologize to anyone who may have needed me, and should be getting my hard drive fixed within the next month.
